BERNADETTE M. DURRSE - 76, died of complications of cancer
on January 16, 2006. Born in St. Johnsbury, VT on April 5, 1929,
she was the beloved daughter of Philipe and Agatha LeClerc.
Bernadette was a resident of Greenwich for over 40 years. She
was a devout Catholic and President of the Greenwich Council
of Catholic Women. Bernadette is survived by her 2 sons -
Jared I. Durrse; Joel H. Durrse, his wife Liane; daughter Janine
Giardino and granddaughter Daija Durrse.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's
Church, 469 North Street, Greenwich at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday,
January 21, 2006. The burial will be at St. John's Cemetery,
Middle Village, Queens, NY.
Friends and family may call Friday, January 20, 2006 from 3-5
and 6-8 p.m. at The Leo P. Gallagher and Son Funeral Home,
31 Arch Street, Greenwich.
