STETSON: Paul Gilman , 83, of 122 South St., Concord, Vt., passed away
Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002, at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital in
St. Johnsbury. He was born Nov. 21, 1918 in St. Johnsbury, the son of the
late Henry and Flora (Barclay) Stetson. He graduated from Tilton Prep
School in 1937, and served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He
then farmed for 17 years, worked at the Saunders Saw Mill, and then at
McLarens Farm Equipment from 1964 until he retired in 1980. He is
survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Dale) Stetson of Concord, whom he
married May 4, 1943; his children and their spouses, Douglas and Patsy
Stetson of Lyndonville, and Judith and James Masure of Sutton; his
grandchildren and their spouses, Dawn Marie and Paul Doty of Oklahoma
City, Okla., and Douglas and Kristi Stetson Jr. of Lyndonville; his
great-grandsons, Daniel Stetson of Lyndonville, and Gage Doty of
Oklahoma City, Okla.; and his brother and wife, Dr. John and Doris Stetson
of St. Johnsbury. At his request there will be no services. Those who wish
