Wilder, VT - Madeline Jeannette E. Albanese, 97, died Friday,
October 30, 2015 at her home with her daughter and niece by
her side. Jeannette was born December 30, 1917 in North
Danville, VT the daughter of Arthur F. and Pauline G. (LaPlante)
Emmons. She graduated from Mount Saint Joseph's Academy in
St. Johnsbury, VT. She worked for New England Telephone and
Telegraph for 37 years starting in St. Johnsbury and later
transferring to the White River Junction office. She was married
August 25, 1956 to Joseph B. Albanese at the Notre Dame des
Victoires Church in St. Johnsbury. They made their home in
Wilder. She was a communicant of St Anthony's Church. She is
preceded in death by her husband Joseph and siblings Francis
Emmons, Barbara Prevost, Robert Emmons and Marie Dupuis.
Jeannette is survived by her daughter, Pauline Albanese of
Quechee, niece and caregiver Nancy Ashey of White River
Junction; sisters in law, Jeannette Emmons, Rosanna Melisi,
Angela Falzarano, and Felda Digilio; several cousins; and many
devoted Emmons and Albanese nieces and nephews. Visiting
hours will be held Wednesday, November 4 from 6-8pm at the
Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction. A Mass of
Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony's Church in
White River Junction Thursday at 10am with burial following in
the Mt Olivet Cemetery.
