FARR: Lucille A. , 84, of Concord, Vt., died suddenly at her home,
Wednesday evening, Sept. 11, 2002. She was born in Concord, Aug. 11,
1918, the daughter of Benjamin and Helen (Morton) Daniels. Shortly after
birth she moved to Waterford to the Daniels Brothers Farm, where she
lived for many years. Lucille married Collins J. Farr and from 1962 to 1981
they lived in the Barre Town area, working for Sprague Electric, then
returning to Concord. Additionally, she had been employed at Gilman
Paper, Sears, and had been a school bus driver in St. Johnsbury. In her
younger years she loved to ride horseback, and was a charter member of
the St. Johnsbury Riding Club. She loved camping at Joe's Pond and
winters in Florida, but most of all she loved her family and the time spent
with them. On Sept. 3, 2002, she and her husband, Collins J. Farr,
celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Her husband survives her in
Concord. Other survivors include her son, Edward C. Farr of Danville; a
daughter, Constance and husband Raymond Robitaille of Littleton; two
sisters, Marjorie Canning and Vivian Davis, both of Waterford; five
grandchildren, Edward C. Farr and wife Jennifer of Danville, Patricia J.
Blackmore of Peacham, Sharyn Lucille Farr of Essex Junction, Gregory
Farr and wife Phyllis of Barre Town, Michael Frank Jackson and wife Laurie
of Bethlehem, N.H.; eight great-grandchildren, Collins Gabriel, Rosemary,
Thomas, Ian, Erica, Matthew, Michelle and Devon; and several nieces and
nephews, including a special niece, Sally Goodrich of East Cabot. She was
predeceased by a brother, Glen; stepfather, Harold Lunnie; and a special
uncle, Carl Daniels. Funeral services will be held at the Sayles Funeral
Home in St. Johnsbury, Saturday, Sept. 14, at 2 p.m., Burial will be at the
Passumpsic Cemetery at a later date. Friends are invited to meet the family
this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions in her
