ROBINSON: Helen J. (Beck) , 91, of Lyndonville, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004,
at the Pines Rehabilitation and Health Center in Lyndon. She was
born in St. Johnsbury, Vt., March 29, 1912, daughter of the late Alfred T.
and Elizabeth (Thayer) Beck. For many years Mrs. Robinson was an active
member of the Lyndon Center Baptist Church and its womens group. She
enjoyed knitting, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren and
great-grandchildren. Survivors include her three daughters, Elizabeth
Crockett of Rumford, Maine, Gail O'Connell of Keene, N.H., and Lynn
Norris and her husband, Donald, of West Burke, Vt.; eight grandchildren;
10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; nieces and
nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Kenneth Benoit; her
second husband, to whom she was married for 39 years, J. Earl Robinson,
in 1999; two sisters, Marion Persons and Mildred Osborne; and many of
her close friends. Honoring Helen's wishes, there will be no services.
