Charlotte Simpson of Long Acres Drive in St. Johnsbury, Vt., passed away at NVRH Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016. Charlotte was active into her early 90s. She volunteered for many organizations and liked to play cards, bingo and join friends at the meal sites. She worked at Maple Grove for over 40 years while helping her husband Sherman run the farm. She was predeceased by her husband, Sherman; two sisters, Madeline and Margaret; and two brothers, Richard and Wesley. She is survived by her sister, Ann Ovitt, County Hill Road, St. Johnsbury, VT 05819; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves many good neighbors and friends. Visiting hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sept. 8, at Pearsons Funeral Home at 70 Church St. in Lyndonville, Vt., and a Graveside Service will be held at 1 p.m. Sept. 9 at Danville Green Cemetery in Danville, Vt.
