Barbara Richardson passed away Wednesday December 1, 2010 at her
home at the age of 89. She was born on December 10, 1920 in St.
Johnsbury, VT to the late Mildred Frazier and Archibald Daniel Wilcomb
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church EPC in West Point, where
she served as Sunday Superintendent. She was also a member and officer
of the Hospital Auxiliary. Mrs. Richardson enjoyed playing bridge with her many friends.
Funeral service will be held Friday December 3, 2010 at 2PM at the First
Presbyterian Church EPC with Rev. Steve Davis officiating. Burial will
follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point. Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 2 pm
at the First Presbyterian Church EPC. S.
She is survived by one daughter Susan Portera (Joe), West Point; one
some Judson C. Richardson III (Carolyn), Hendersonville, NC;
Grandchildren Lori DeGeus (Tim), Raleigh, NC, Stephanie Portera Bristow
(Vance), West Point, Brain Portera (Jennifer), Starkville, Cynthia Portera
Lyon (Gil), West Point; 3 Great-Grandchildren, 4 Nieces and 1 nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband Col. Judson Cromwell Richardson Jr. USMC (Ret.).
