To reach this cemetery, take the Autoroute 10 E. towards Sherbrooke,
exit 78, turn right on Blvd Bromont , right on rue Shefford,
left on chemin de Gaspé, and then left on chemin Miltimore.
It is up on a bank on the northwest side of the corner of
Rue de Gaspé and Chemin Miltimore. I am not sure if this is
Cowansville, or East Farnham.
"The cemetery is old and abandoned, badly in need of upkeep,
it is overgrown, with branches laying on the ground. It has an old
page wire fence and still pretty solid, but the posts are now broken
or tipped over so perhaps a few need replacement. On Wallings map,
this area was called Glen Farnham and there was a sawmill, a gristmill
and a small creamery but it has all disappeared, Douglas was told that
the grindstone was still there on the river bank but he hasn't
found it yet. Here are the names on the 10 stones that Douglas
found in the old abandoned cemetery. Anyone with questions
concerning this cemetery, please direct your questions to me.
