The NEKG site is dedicated to free genealogy. This means these listings may be
freely used for personal research use only. Membership is NOT required to browse
and view our records. The NEKG site now contains over 850 documents that were
transcribed from various sources, such as census, town directories, church records,
cemetery tombstones, newspapers, town reports and school records. One of the member benefits
is the ability to search these records. The NEKG team is constantly looking and

These listings are of people who's last address of record was from
the following towns of the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.
Saint Johnsbury, Danville, Barton, Barnet, Peacham, Burke,
Lyndonville and Waterford.
Another list is from people that had their SS# issued in Vermont
and their last address was in Florida.
The Social Security Death Index is a listing of people whose deaths were reported to the Social
Security Administration (SSA) beginning about 1962. A small number of deaths are listed before 1962.
You will not find everyone who died from 1962 to the present, but it does list many deaths in that
time frame, especially in more recent years (particularly from the late 1980s to the present).
